Very good place to eat. The ambience is great. The food and service are superb. A great place to meet with family and friends.

For some time now we have driven pass the very impressive restaurant building design of Shakers Good Food & Drink. The entrance made with brown and beige bricks and wood, and a large red and green sign of the restaurant high above. Today a friend of mine and I decided to stop and give it a try. As we entered the building, I was very impressed by the beautiful medium size natural tile floors and by the inside architectural design of the seating areas and bar. Just by being inside, the atmosphere gave a sense of a place where one would enjoy good food and drinks with family or friends, in a very clean and tastefully decorated restaurant. The host greeted us at the host station with a big smile and warm welcome, and took us to our table. From there, we had a view of the entire restaurant as well as a view of the majestic mountains that surrounded us in the distance, as well as a partial view of the airport. She had us take a seat and handed us the menu which was a long size semi hard weight paper stock with the menu printed on both sides. It was simple yet contained a nice variety of items, from drinks, appetizers, main entrées, desserts, etc... Enough nice items that as you viewed it you were probably thinking about returning another day to enjoy other items of the menu. Shortly after, our server arrived with a friendly smile and asked us if we were ready to order. To drink we just ordered iced water with a slice of lemon. As appetizer we ordered the Catfish bites. For our main course we both ordered The Smokey Mountain BBQ Burger. My friend cooked well done with a side of baked sweet potato and mine medium with a side of fresh fries. The Catfish Bites looked and tasted amazing. When the burger arrived, they looked wonderful, but not until I started eating mine that I noticed that the burger bun was not soft and fresh but stale and dry. In my opinion, there is nothing as bad in a restaurant than serving stale bread. Later we also noticed that the server gave us the wrong cooking temperature burgers. I got the well done and my friend the medium. I mention this as a constructive feedback to the Management of this restaurant because this deserves to be a 5 Star restaurant, considering all the other positive things noticed and mentioned here. For dessert we both ordered The Flash-Fried Banana Cheesecake. Wrapped in a cinnamon sugared tortilla and lightly fried, and served with vanilla ice cream, all drizzled with caramel sauce. What can I say, this dessert was "to die for." So rich with flavor and different textures. I would return to this restaurant just to have this dessert again. In conclusion, I hope the Management of this restaurant takes care of the items in my review that need taking care of. Because if they do, this restaurant could very well become one of my favorites. Anticipating they will, I highly recommend this restaurant to all in the area who want to experience a good meal in a clean, relaxed environment, and at the same time very distinguished, with wonderful customer service.

Food was average. Great salad but the service was great!!! That made everything wonderful!!!

Great dinner, service, atmosphere, etc. It's a really nice space inside and I enjoyed the clean classy bar area. I had one of a few local beer options. The bbq chicken salad was great! I did order it without ranch and it was still delicious.

Excellent quality. Attentive staff. Active atmosphere. Reasonable prices. We will return.

If you have never been to Shakers, you're missing out! We ordered Bam Bam fried shrimp with a creamy spicy sauce. The sauce had an Asian flavor and wasn't really all that spicy. I also had a Cobb salad. The salad started with small pieces of iceberg and romaine lettuce which was so fresh. The turkey tasted fresh and delicious too. I didn't care for the blue cheese...maybe next time I could ask for a different kind of cheese. You can see in the photo all the salad had to offer and the large portion. Our waitress was quick, helpful and friendly. I can't wait to go back!

Maaaaaaan...... went to Cheddars for lunch and then here for dinner. We had a party of 25 people by then......... I've never seen a more organized, friendly, welcoming group for a party of that size. I think the manager was the one who took us to our area. A really cool fella. Food was excellent. I'm very very impressed. I only had time to take photos of my appetizer. Apologies. But I think you'll get it. Promise you it'll be the best tenders and honey mustard you've ever had. I'll have to search and find more of these because I'm not waiting until I go back to Roanoke. Too good

Awesome place nearby the airport. All the choices are great. I like their baked sweet potato side. I received a very pleasant service. My waitress was very polite, welcoming and kind. Recommend
